In this hands-on experience, you will learn how to nourish and maintain a sourdough starter, as well as mix and shape your dough at various stages. We will discuss the distinctions between wild and commercial yeast, the advantages of using organic flours and ancient grains, and the tools and techniques vital for successful sourdough baking.


By the end of the workshop, participants will take home a pre-shaped loaf ready to bake in the comfort of their own home the next day, a starter kit complete with care instructions, a reliable sourdough recipe, and a comprehensive step-by-step guide for mixing and baking.


The workshop includes: all necessary tools for the day, light refreshments, and a bread tasting experience with a delicious lunch! Additionally, you’ll receive ongoing support as you continue on your sourdough baking journey.
